10th September 2016 Saturday Turf Moor: City came very close to losing this, but a Snodgrass special free kick rescued the Tigers and gave them a precious point in the 95′.

The Clarets have been something of a bogey team to the KC outfit over the years and although the Tigers looked the better team at times it was the home side who went ahead after 72′ from Belgian Steven Defour their new midfield signing from Anderlecht, a stunning 25 yarder.

Solid displays from Snodgrass and Davies. Snoddy is a shining light and look too player for the Tigers and Curtis Davies is surely in the the best form of his life.

That’s 7 points from a possible 12, who would have dreamed of that!

The Mike Phelan Manager thing is now getting embarrassing for the club, Phelan, and all of us watching our dawdling, lost in the wilderness owners. They’ve already pissed off one great Manager this season, to do it twice requires Allam’s at their worst.

Mike Phelan:

“I’ve made it pretty clear I want to be in charge of this group of players.

I think the players have made it quite clear too,” he said. “At one point I thought we were playing really well, we might win the game and then it’s over to negotiations again…then at 1-0 down you think maybe not, maybe another week. “But I’m sure things will get resolved.

They probably will do, one way or another. “We haven’t fallen out or done anything drastic, we’re taking it day by day and hopefully another week doesn’t go by without it being resolved.”

“We suffered in the last minute in the last game (letting in a late goal against Manchester United).

“Credit to us as we kept going. The players did what we asked of them today.”

23rd November 2012 Friday. The Tigers will look to continue their run of renewed good form by getting a little bit of revenge tomorrow. Burnley shocked the KC last season when they overturned a 2 goal deficit in the last quarter of an hour and ended up 2-3 winners. That was a horror story for City and this seasons bunch will look to beat the Clarets where past elevens have failed for one reason or another. You have to go back to the 2007/08 season for our last win. City are in better form than Burnley and a lot of indicators point to a home win this time around.

Team news is unknown at this point but Steve Bruce has a few options to ponder, so the team sheet will be interesting. One face we are sure to see however is goal scorer supreme Sone Aluko who has bagged 5 goals in 5 games. We should also discover if David Stockdale will start, the speed with which the loan deal went through points to him starting. We hope Rosie is fit enough to start but no doubt Paul McShane will not have recovered from his groin strain problem.

In midfield will Oli, Corry Evans or Meyler?

Whatever the team lets give the Clarets a hammering…UTT.

Fulham’s Goal Keeper David Stockdale has joined Hull City on a loan deal until 2nd January 2013.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper has made 23 appearances for the Whites but the form of first-choice stopper Mark Schwarzer has limited his chances. He is available to play against Burnley at the KC Stadium on Saturday if selected.
