27th June 2014 – Hull City have agreed a new contract with 29 year old Bosnian goal-keeper Eldin Jakupovic to supercede his current contract which expires at the end of this month.
He is basically the 3rd choice keeper at the KC and had a successful loan spell at Leyton Orient last season, to keep in trim, having joined City in the summer of 2012.
He had a few dodgy appearances for the Tigers in his early months at the KC but that seems to be behind him now loan spelland confidence has returned thanks to that “O’s” and the odd game as a Tiger.
Second choice keeper 39 year old Steve Harper and City have taken advantage of an extra years option to the Irish man’s contract and it now seems as if Jakupovic could be in line for the 2nd keeper spot next season when Harper probably leaves the KC.
